Psyren Song Studios - Who are we?

Psyren Song studios is an indie Tabletop Development studio that was formed in 2018 by two friends that had been playing TTRPG's for decades. Since then, our primary and first product "Project Psyren" has moved ever closer to release and the studio (based out of Ohio) has grown to a small team of 4.

3 out of the 4 current members of Team Psyren are members of the LGBT+ and Trans Community as well as other marginalized groups. We're focused on making games that elevate our voices and voices like ours in the space.

What is Project Psyren?

A Dark Epic Fantasy Survival TTRPG set during the aftermath of a cataclysmic event that shattered the world of Psyren.

Core Die: Project Psyren uses only the D12 as it's Primary Die. 

Core Conflict Resolution System: "Dice Pool"  Attribute + Skill +/- Modifiers vs "Thresholds"

Classless and Leveless: Using an open Build Point based character creation and fully open character advancement system, Project Psyren let's you tell us who your character is.

A "World Scale" setting: Set on the devastated world of Psyren with its twin Moons of Selia and Seganta. The world of Psyren is full of nations, points of interest, and room for you to build your own campaign to adventure in.

Fully Open: Project Psyren is being developed under the Creative Commons License to support future content creation for private and commercial use.

Inspired by Games like Shadowrun, World of Darkness, and Cold and Dark from a design perspective and Video Games like Skyrim from a player creativity and progression perspective, Project Psyren will let you play the character you want, the way you want to play it.

Optimized for Long & Guided Play

Project Psyren is optimized for longer term play with parties of 4 to 6 and we encourage that style of play. Though short term campaigns and one shots with smaller groups of 2 or more are also fully supported. Project Psyren does not currently support solo play and is best played with a GM or Guide.
